Viqar Anwar
President
Mr. Anwar is an experienced SCADA engineer with a knack for learning new technologies. Early in his career as a field engineer for Southern National Gas in Alabama (now Kinder Morgan), Viqar realized he enjoyed exploring, learning and developing solutions on a variety of technology platforms and wanted to be more strongly associated with global solutions.
Seizing an opportunity, Mr. Anwar moved to Houston in 1993 and diversified his technical capability to support Bristol and Wonderware PLCs and SCADA systems. In 1995, Viqar started his own consulting business. In 2006, Viqar hired Muhammad Sadiq, his long-time friend. Later, in 2015, the two friends re-branded the existing company to form SOAP Engineering.
Viqar holds a Master's in Electrical Engineering from Rice University. In his free time, he enjoys playing squash and is currently sponsoring a local squash tournament.
Muhammad Sadiq
VP of Operations
Mr. Sadiq has worked on SCADA and SWOT projects in the oil and gas industry for more than 15 years. He played an integral role in Cimation as a SCADA developer prior to joining Viqar Anwar. Together the two re-branded the existing company to create SOAP Engineering to combine Muhammad's passion for helping people with Viqar's engineering mindset, and created a refreshing new consulting business for SCADA operations that puts people in the forefront of good business.
Muhammad is very active in the Houston community and enjoys volunteering his time to help grow squash enthusiasm.
